Summer activities for children: a whirlwind of emotions
Summer in Val Gardena has a whole new charm, and your children are about to discover it. Waking up with the chirping of the birds, admiring the sunlit 'Pale Mountains', being inebriated by the fragrances of the forest with our sensory trail through the trees, learning the secrets of the mountains and taking a dip in the cool water of our swimming pool. Nature Programme by Familienhotels Südtirol: between art and nature!
South Tyrol is characterised by unique landscapes that we want to introduce children to through the fantastic Nature Programme by Familienhotels Südtirol. This year's theme is 'Natur Art - Ella and Max on the trail of artists' and involves using natural materials to make collages and learn the technique of gilding, and creating colours using pigments from plants and the earth. The children will thus be transformed into little artists and their workshop will be nature.
Together with our assistants specialised in nature education, your little artists will learn what Land Art is, create impressive works of art using natural materials, understand and overcome the laws of nature and use contrasts and dimensions. The little ones will learn how to build in layers and stack, how to position and insert materials, how to sculpt, glue and even gild! At the end of the creative work there will be an exhibition where each group will display their work.
